The most famous piece of undisturbed rainforest is the Sinharaja Biosphere Reserve’s neighbor Kottawa Rainforest and Arboretum, Only 25km from Galle City. It is much Iler than Sinharaja measuring only 1,800ha in Extent. You get a great experience of a rainforest environment under the huge tree forming such a compact canopy above, walking in a comparative gloom to the bright sunshine many meters above.
